JeevanJyot Mandal is a public charitable trust working for the welfare and progress of mentally challenged by making them self reliant through special education, vocational training and providing hostel facility for boys and girls.
Smt. Meena R. Inamdar, President, JeevanJyot Mandal, after completing special training course for the mentally challenged, with a view to educate her mentally challenged daughter and other children, founded and started JeevanJyot Mandal in 1980 with a initial student strength of 6 students which grew to 160 students by 2005.
